The team at Manifold has had a massive impact on the world of NFTs. They were the first to push the importance of creator sovereignty with the Manifold Creator Contract, and have been product partners to some of the largest drops with artists like Snoop Dogg, JayZ, Steve Aoki, Mad Dog Jones, Pak, Fvckrender, and many more.
At the time the three founders had received funding from a16z and Initialized. With a business model spanning partner collaborations, creator tooling, and developer infrastructure, they had a lot to do. Originally a team of 8 (7 engineers and 1 product manager), there was a large need to scale, but a very strong drive to do so smartly.
In particular, diversity of hiring was an integral factor for their future growth and one that the team would not compromise on. They had a strong intent to balance the gender ratio of their team and were willing to solely focus new hires in towards this effort.
